Florida State Florists' Association (FSFA) offers the opportunity for Member Floral Designers to be Accredited as a Florida State Master Designer "FSMD". The lapel pin above is presented to all designers who have successfully completed the testing process along with a certificate and recognition at our annual awards ceremony.
In order to accredit, candidates must successfully pass criteria as established by the Florida State Florists' Association. The test administered follows the guidelines set by AIFD. The designs will be scored by a team of qualified and accredited evaluators immediately following the design session.
This exam follows the same protocols and testing format as the AIFD certification exam. Candidates will be given 4 hours to complete designs in the categories below. At the orientation, students will be given specific assignments for each category (except Designers’ Choice).
