COMPETITION INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

NEW for 2024

This Year, FSFA International will be hosting 3 Competitions: 1.) The TableScape Competition, 2.) The FernTrust Cup and 3.) The Sunshine Cup Competition. Each competition may be entered individually or by entering all three, you are entered in the FSFA International Designer of the Year. As Designer of the Year, you could win up to $2,000.00 CASH~!!!

1. Tablescape Competition - Sponsored By Kuhn Flowers - $500 1st Place

Theme - The Past -  FSFA International will provide a low cocktail table and all FRESH FLOWERS AND FOLIAGES and some hardgoods.  You must bring your props and accessories for cocktails for 2. The color pallete will be pink and purple.

2. FernTrust Cup - Sponsored By FernTrust, Inc - $500 1st Place 

Theme - The Present -  FSFA International will provide containers and all FRESH FOLIAGES and hardgoods. 

3. Sunshine Cup - Sponsored By FSFA International - $500 1st Place

Theme - The Future -  FSFA International will provide a pedestal approx 30" high with a 12" x 12" top. The design must be place on top of the pedestal. The design may cascade to the floor but no taller than 48" from the top of the pedestal.  The design must be contained within a space of 36" x 36".

ALL COMPETITORS MUST BRING THEIR OWN TOOLS WITH THEM.

Tools allowed:

Floral knife, Wire Cutters, Ribbon Shears, Stem Cutters, Needle Nose Pliers, Stapler

**NO Power Tools, NO Glue Pans, NO Glue Guns** 

Prize Packages

The Winner of the “FSFA Designer of the Year” competition will receive a prize package valued at $3000.00

1.       Trophy to proudly display

2.       Cash prize of $500 sponsored by BloomNet/Floriology Institute

3.       Professional designer fee for a presentation at the Mid-Season Summit 2025 

4.       Registration to Annual Convention 2025

The 1st Runner Up Will Receive:

1.      Award plaque

2.      Cash Prize of $250.00

The 2nd Runner Up Will Receive:    

1.      Award plaque

2.      Cash Prize of $125.00

This Competition is open to only Paid Members of FSFA and

Registered to Annual Convention 2024 "Reflections - Past, Present, Future"

The Designer of the Year Competition will be held:

Friday, June 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

(Be sure to have lunch prior to attending the competition) 

  Awards will be presented on Saturday, June 8, 2024 

Registration Closes May 24, 2024.

Registration Fee for all Three is Only $125.00
