Attire/ Dress Code for Convention 2025

Convention 2025 has a Convention Casual Dress Code. We are aiming for  comfortable, professional-looking attire like button-down shirts or blouses, slacks or skirts, and comfortable shoes, avoiding overly casual items like jeans or t-shirts.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of what to wear:

  • Tops:
    • Button-down shirts or blouses
    • Sweaters or cardigans for layering
    • Polo shirts
  • Bottoms:
    • Dress pants or slacks in neutral colors
    • Knee-length skirts
  • Shoes:
    • Loafers, flats, or low-heeled shoes
    • Comfortable, polished shoes are key

  • Outerwear (Optional):
    • Blazer or jacket
  • Accessories:
    • Minimal and understated accessories
  • Consider:
    • Comfort: You'll likely be doing a lot of walking and standing, so choose comfortable shoes and clothing.
    • Neutral Colors: Stick to neutral colors like navy, tan, brown, or black, as they match with many outfits.
    • Layering: Dress in layers to be prepared for temperature changes.

Things to Avoid:

  • Jeans: Generally not appropriate for a business or professional setting.
  • T-shirts: Unless specifically permitted by the convention organizers.
  • Overly casual clothing: Avoid anything that looks like you're wearing clothes you would wear around the house.
  • Anything too revealing: Opt for clothing that is modest and professional.
